Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need coaching? Couldn’t I watch YouTube and do this on my own?
Great question. You could probably make some headway. Certain YouTube channels provide great information. But if that worked, you probably wouldn’t be looking here for personalized help.
Maybe I am wrong.
But my guess is you want something bigger for yourself and you know you might need some help with direction, tactics, accountability, or a shoulder to lean on. The point is you have an opportunity to increase your influence, your career confidence, even your salary, and make a bigger splash in the world… but there’s likely a gap in your ability to do just that on your own.
Even if we provide you with the best curriculum and training in the world, you still need help. And that’s what a coach will do for you.
Chances are, you’ve tried to do things on your own in the past. A lot of people have read as many self-improvement or leadership books as they could, aggressively watched hundreds of videos on YouTube over the years, soaked up many hours of Ted Talk, and/or consumed too-many-to-count online courses on LinkedIn.
Not to mention, if you’re lucky, you’ve taken advantage of the training opportunities your company may provide.
Maybe they worked. Maybe they didn't. But either way, the only proven way to get a result from a mentorship like this is to work with someone like a veteran coach.

Inside the portal, you will find an onboarding section with instructions, office hours support calls, special trainings, and the proven systems and frameworks Kevin has taught globally.
You’ll also see dates to upcoming live classes and office hours support calls so you can plan your calendar, schedule and participate in these performance improvement experiences.
The purpose of Leadership Advantage Mentorship is to grow your professional and personal skills, helping you to become a more effective leader for your team and organization.
Time is your most precious resource so how you choose to spend it is what determines your “double ROI” – return on investment and return on individual. Our experience has proven time and again, those that put more into the program, get the most out of it.
Our coaching program is a global community. We know and appreciate that time zone differences may make it difficult to attend all the live training classes and group coaching calls. That’s why everything is recorded and you are given instant access to the recordings. Many of our mentees around the world have experienced transformation after through the recordings.
Beyond that, please note Kevin and his team of coaches do not accept members they do not believe they can assist to achieve exponential growth and results. A growth mindset and the power of community are a critical psychological advantage that works for you when you participate.
For this to work you must commit to growth and mastery for at least the next 3 months. Although your commitment is 3 months, most clients see significant results before the end of the period, and some clients even have major transformations within the first weeks. Failure to make this commitment will reduce the quality of your outcome. So, please do not apply if you are not dedicated to seeing yourself grow to another level.
What is the structure of the coaching/mentoring program?
Coaching/mentoring and live classes are held weekly for 3 consecutive weeks for 3 months. This is our triage or fast start process. We want you to hit the ground running right out of the gate. We refer to these consecutive classes as power sprints. Upon completion of one 3-week session, your fourth week is spent finalizing and implementing your change actions. Then we move on to the next three week sprint. There are three, 3 week springs for a total of 12 weeks.
Based on your progress, you will be invited to move into one of two paths: 1) another 12 week coaching sprint, or 2) the “Double Up” where we do two coaching sessions each month for 6 or 9 months as needed to achieve your goals.
Do you accept funding from my company if my employer is sponsoring my professional development?
Yes, we do. In fact, we encourage company sponsorship since your personal and professional growth enables you to contribute at a higher level and make a bigger impact. Most of our clients have chosen to invest in the mentorship themselves, although, many do get reimbursement from their employer if it is available to them.
If you are interested in gaining your company’s support, we have a letter you can download that will help you convince your company or boss. Modify it and make it yours. Remember to tweak it to your company’s process and professional development budget.
Do I get personal access to Kevin?
Yes. Your access to Kevin begins after your orientation and onboarding with the coaching team, and continues throughout the program with your Community access.
During your Community access, you will interact with Kevin on the 1:1 or group coaching calls, live weekly classes and support calls. You will get to ask questions and get detailed answers and mentoring from Kevin and his coaching team.
What will happen during my interview with Kevin or one of his coaches?
This interview is a leadership growth discovery call. On this call, we will:
- Discuss your application to understand where you’re currently at
- Determine if Kevin can help you get to where you want to be
- Assess our mutual "fit" for the coaching and mentorship program
- Be ready to answer questions about your application and talk about your goals and reasons you want to commit to a coaching/mentoring program
- If we feel Kevin can help you elevate your leadership and growth, and if you'll be a great contributor and addition to the group, you'll be invited to a 1:1 call with Kevin for further discussion.
What if I still have unanswered questions about the mentorship program before applying?
